Touch the Sky!

Hi readers! It's been a long time I'm not update my blog. btw, how are you guys? May you have a great day ^o^ Today I want to share with you about Chinese tradition. Well, I just done make some research about chinese.

Well, Chinese's people believe in luck. They got a few community that using different dialect languages, such as Mandarin, Hokkien, Teochew, Hainanese, HingHua and so on.

Chinese's people usually celebrate Chinese New Year every January. As their tradition, before the day comes, they got some taboo or prohibitions. Like they can't make a haircut, purchasing new stuff like clothes, shoes. It's because they believe if they do it, it's like they are losing their experience life and they luck will disappear just like that. Chinese people usually make some preparations for inviting a good luck. Such as, during preceding days, they make mutual cooperation for cleaning their house. It's because they want to sweep the bad luck away.

During the day, they believe it's the day of welcoming heavens and earth. Usually, the welcoming day should be at midnight. They make some activities to remove the devil from their house such as burn bamboo sticks, firecrackers and light fireworks. Most importantly, the first day of Chinese New Year is a time to honor one's elders and families visit the oldest and most senior members of their extended families, usually their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Some families may invite a lion dance troupe as a symbolic ritual to usher in the Chinese New Year as well as to evict bad spirits from the premises. Members of the family who are married also give red packets containing cash known as lai see or angpow, a form of blessings and to suppress the aging and challenges associated with the coming year, to junior members of the family, mostly children and teenagers.

Well, that's all I know since my research ended just like that. hahaa. So I'll see you later reader. Maybe after I done with my exams. Bye readers. Thanks for reading ^///^
